Melanie Morton is the owner of Serenity Spa and Salon, which has been operating since 2001. With a passion for business and beauty, she has created a warm, relaxing environment for people to escape from their busy schedules and add a little Serenity to their lives. Melanie graduated from the Catherine Hinds Institute of Esthetics in 1994 and holds a Massachusetts State License in Esthetics. As a Skin Care Specialist, Melanie is certified in Microdermabrasion, which includes Diamond Peels and Crystal Microdermabrasion, as well as laser hair removal and pulsed light laser procedures. She also specializes in custom facials, waxing, and advanced skin care, as well as Rx strength chemical peels. Melanie received her Instructor’s License in 1995 and has since obtained over 1500 hours of continuing education. She also volunteers at a local beauty school to educate students on specialty makeup. With a dedicated, experienced staff behind her, Melanie strives to adapt to the needs of each and every one of her clients to ensure they leave feeling relaxed, refreshed, and beautiful.

	Sue Chronopoulos - Spa Manager Getting her nail technician license in 1999, Sue owned and operated a local salon for over five years. She has been a part of the Serenity team since 2004. As spa manager and coordinator, Sue serves as a conduit between the staff and clients. She also acts as the clients’ advocate to ensure that their important, and sometimes urgent, scheduling needs are met. Most importantly, she is committed to making every client’s experience at Serenity a smooth and positive one from beginning to end.
	Lisa Donovan - Spa Coordinator Lisa has been a part of the Serenity team since 2003. As a Spa Coordinator, Lisa provides all of our clients with patience and support to ensure that their important, and sometimes urgent, scheduling needs are met. Acting as a conduit between the staff and clients, Lisa is committed to making every client’s experience at Serenity a positive one from beginning to end, which shines through in her enthusiasm and energy.
	Kelsey Turner - Spa Coordinator Kelsey graduated from Shawsheen Tech in 2009 with a license in cosmetology. She joined the Serenity team in 2013, providing support to both clients and staff. Kelsey will graduate from Framingham State University in May of 2013 with a degree in psychology. She is committed to each and every client, making sure their individual scheduling needs are met and their experience at Serenity is a smooth and positive one.

	Cindy Brasil - Hair Stylist Cindy is a graduate of the Blaine School of Cosmetology. She has been a member of the Serenity team since 2007. Cindy has been trained and certified in haircoloring and advanced cutting techniques through Paul Mitchell, Famesi, Goldwell, Loreal Majirel, Sebastian, Rusk, Nexxus, and Wella. Staying current with the latest trends in her field, she has received certification in Coppola Keratin Treatments, Bio Ionic Straighteners, and Neo Hair Extensions. Cindy is dedicated to educating her clients with her professional advice and providing them with quality services to fulfill all of their hair needs.
	Courtney Fell - Hair Stylist Courtney is an experienced hair stylist, graduating from the Lowell Hair Academy in 1997. She has been a member of the Serenity team since 2001. Since then, she has studied with Paul Mitchell, Goldwell, Framesi, Matrix, Sebastian, and Sexy Hair Concepts, staying up-to-date with the latest trends and techniques. Courtney was also an educator for Sebastian International & Trucco Cosmetics in hair cutting and makeup artistry from 2001-2004. In 2006, she completed the National Board of Hair Colorist certification program. Courtney also has advanced training with Neo Hair Extensions, Keratin Smoothing treatments and make-up artistry. Her large, loyal, and expanding clientele are very appreciative of her innate ability to listen, envision, and execute when it comes to their styling and/or coloring needs.
	Kate Dion - Hair Stylist Kate graduated from the Continental Academy of Cosmetology in 1990. She has been an experienced member of the Serenity team since 2003. Kate has received certification in Global and Coppola Keratin treatments, as well as Neo Hair extensions. She keeps her skills sharp by participating in color and cutting classes on a regular basis. Her success is made evident by her dedicated clientele, who have been confident in her ability and creativity for years.
	Candice Donovan - Hair Stylist Candice has been a licensed hair stylist since 2005, joining the Serenity team in 2008. She is highly skilled in the techniques of cutting, razor cutting, coloring, and foiling. she is also certified in Keratin treatments and hair extensions. Candice is dedicated to staying current with the latest styles and techniques.
	Tim Pyrcz - Hair Stylist Tim is an experienced hair stylist, graduating from the Lowell Hair Academy in 2005. He has been a member of the Serenity team since 2007. Since 2006, Tim has received color certifications from Joico, Redken, Paul Mitchel, and Goldwell, as well as cut certifications from Paul Mitchell and Goldwell. In addition to coloring and cutting, Tim has also mastered Coppola and Global Keratin treatments, which he been educating others on since 2009, as well as Neo Protein and Lock and Loop extensions. Tim earned his artist certification from Ultimate Face in 2007 and has been an educator since 2007. His dedication to continuing education guarantees his clients the most up-to-date styling, coloring, and make-up techniques.
	Tarah Smith - Hair Stylist Tarah is a graduate of the Continental Academie and has been a licensed cosmetologist since 2007. She has received training on both color and cutting from Paul Mitchell, Goldwell, Wella, and Farouk. She is highly skilled in dimensional color techniques, foiling, long hair cutting, razor cutting, and keratin treatments. She loves connecting with her clients and values a genuine thorough consultation.
	Christina Ziegler - Hair Stylist Christina brings over twenty years of creative experience, mastering in hair design and multidimensional color artistry. Various hands on and product knowledge classes, including Framesi, Tigi, Paul Mitchell, Purology, Sukesha, and Eufora keep her up to date on the latest trends and techniques. Christinia has also completed the National Board of Cosmetology’s Colorist Program. She applies her expertise by listening to her clients to provide the best possible service while educating them on maintenance and style.

	Deb Calomo - Massage Therapist Deb has been a licensed massage therapist since 2005, graduating from The Salter School of Massage. She is a professional member of Associated Bodywork and Massage Professionals and is nationally certified in Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork.She is also trained in manual Lymphatic Drainage techniques and performs body wraps and scrubs. Deb has been perfecting her massage techniques at Serenity since 2007, providing clients with their choice of Swedish, Deep Tissue, Prenatal, or Hot Stone massages. She has been a massage therapy instructor since 2011. Her dedication to her work is evident in both her performance and her attitude.
	Mathew Fenochetti - Massage Therapist Mathew graduated from the Muscular Therapy Institute in 2001 and has been perfecting his craft of massage since. His training encompasses many massage modalities, such as Swedish, Deep Tissue, Prenatal, Hot Stone, and Thai Compress Massage. He also completed Ashiatsu Massage training, making him one of the only practitioners in the area that can perform this ancient form of massage that utilizes the feet for deep and luxurious relaxation. Mathew possesses an ability to zero in on the source of his clients’ inflammation and pain to release it through his patented techniques.
	Kelly Greenwood - Massage Therapist Kelly graduated from Finger Lakes School of Massage in Ithaca, New York, in 2007 with certification in massage and hydrotherapy. She is licensed in Massachusetts as well as New York. Kelly offers her clients Swedish, Deep Tissue, Prenatal, Hot Stone, and Thai Compress massages. Through her dedication, integrative techniques, and presence, she continues to bring ultimate relaxation to her clients, customizing a perfect massage for each individual.
	Emily Lovell - Massage Therapist Emily graduated from The Connecticut Center for Massage Therapy in 2012, joining the Serenity team in 2013. She holds a Massachusetts license in Massage therapy, with a focus on Swedish, deep tissue, and sports massage, as well as Oncology work and trigger point release, stretching techniques, and proper hydrotherapy applications. Emily is committed to providing a positive and relaxing atmosphere to her clients, as well as her work space, while offering her clients clear explanations of applied techniques before, during, and after each session.
	Amy Schiripo - Massage Therapist Amy has been practicing massage therapy since 2004, joining the Serenity family in 2005. Amy is licensed as a professional massage therapist by the state of Massachusetts, completing her National Certification in Therapeutic Massage in 2005. She is also a professional member of the American Massage Therapy Association. Amy completed her Bachelor’s Degree in 2011, focusing heavily in life sciences, such as anatomy and biology. After obtaining her degree, Amy used her new advancements to create an exclusive Body Contouring Treatment; the treatment focuses on the problems of cellulite and the loss of elasticity in the body’s skin. She is both the developer and sole practitioner of this treatment. Amy practices Swedish, Hot Stone, and Prenatal massage, as well as Deep Tissue work, which is one of her most focused areas. Body wraps and treatments are also part of her practice. She is excited to bring further skills to Serenity, both now and in the future.

	Lindsay Clark - Esthetician Lindsay graduated from Catherine Hinds Institute with a Master Esthetic certification in 2007. She joined the Serenity team in 2008, specializing in skin care. Lindsay provides clients with specialty facials, body treatments, waxing, manicures, pedicures, and makeup. She is also certified in chemical peels and laser hair removal. Lindsay combines both a cosmetic and therapeutic approach to her services so her clients leave looking good and feeling good.
	Lynne Crimmins - Esthetician Lynne is an experienced medical esthetician, graduating from the Catherine Hinds Institute. She has been a working member of the Serenity team since they opened in 2001. Her services include specialty facials, body treatments, and waxing. She is also certified in laser hair removal and chemical peels, staying up to date with the latest techniques. Her experience and dedication add a little Serenity to her clients’ day.
	Holly Gonsalves - Esthetician Holly is an experienced esthetician, graduating from the New England School of Esthetics in 2006. She specializes in custom facials, chemical peels, waxing, body wraps, and aromatherapy. Holly has numerous certifications, including Microdermabrasion, Palomar Laser Hair Removal, and Photo Rejuvenation. She is also a licensed nail technician, graduating from the Lowell Academy Hairstyle Institution in January of 2000. She specializes in natural manicures, shellac and spa pedicures. Holly is a dedicated technician who takes pride in customizing all services to meet the needs of her clients.
	Lisa Granata - Esthetician Lisa is an experienced esthetician, graduating from Catherine Hinds Institute of Woburn in Advanced Esthetics in 2000. She is also a licensed cosmetologist, graduating in 1994 from Essex Agricultural and Technical Institute of Danvers. Lisa has been with Serenity since 2006 as both an Esthetician and Nail Technician. Her services include specialty facials, body wraps, waxing, manicures, pedicures, and makeup services with a goal for her clients to leave Serenity refreshed and relaxed.
